Christmas Trees
A few points to remember when buying a Christmas Tree are:
1. The fresher the tree, the better and safer it will be.
2. Needles are best if they are a nice and shiny green. They should not be browned or mottled green. Needles should not be able to be pulle doff easily. If a lot of needles fall off when the tree is moved, the tree is already dead.
3. Branches should be able to be bent easily without snapping off.
4. The trunk should be a little sticky with sap.
Give your Christmas tree plenty of water. A 6-foot (2 meters) tree can drink 4 litres of water a day.
